???msg.biblio.abstract.label??? [+] [-]The BORDAU 1 cruise was carried out in the Fijian Archipelago from 22 February to 14 March 1999 on board of R.V. "Alis". A total of 118 samples were made by dredging and trawling in the upper bathyal zone and in the circalittoral depths of the islands and on the seamounts in the Lau Ridge. The upper part of the slope to 600 m consists of hard bottoms and deeper muddy bottoms with pumice. In some islands particularly isolated (Vanua Balavu, Yacata, Aiwa and Yagasa), the landsnails were sampled.
